Sounds like I need to check Phrenelith and Burial Invocation then. Sometimes I don't really feel like checking OSDM because I'm looking for something 'new' but man when it hits, it hits hard. Can't believe I could've potentially missed out on these guys.

def think this deserves higher than a 3.7 average. many recent dm albums have higher and aren't as good, haha

"Anyways, some cool bass work on this that i wasnt expecting."
Woah tight gotta check. Biggest minor quibble with Nexus was how the bass stuck to the "yeah but you'd miss it if it wasn't there" mold

Going back to the Cadaveric Fumes album that was brought up earlier in the thread, yeah its a little disappointing. I wanted them to get weirder and proggier, but if anything its more by the numbers than Dimensions Obscure. Luckily The Engulfed Sepulcher single (which had me worried about the rest of the album) was the worst song on there and theres still a lot of good songwriting on the album.

Annoyed that I missed this. Gut stomping badassery. Love how smoothly they swing back and forth between the slow/nasty and fast/chaotic sections.
