My cd arrived today, and I quite like it. With proper dynamics, this isn't boring at all.

Nice. I hope the booklet has interesting liner notes about the concept/songs.

@Fernando: Unfortunately, no, it doesn't. Booklet contains Lithuanian lyrics only, without translation or explanation. Beautifully illustrated, though, in line with the cover artwork. These guys have their shit together, and it shows.

Disseminated only in a language barely anyone can understand.
Based.

Well, I don't mind. I'd rather have this, instead of lyrics that make me cringe.

Oh I don't mind either. I can never understand post-metal lyrics nor do I bother looking them up so it's just noise that sounds good.

I've always favored music over lyrics, especially in metal.

I am no reader either. Lyrics can add depth and substance after we dig the music first.
Outside metal, just saw a doc about Blur vs Oasis era where they figured at a certain point that it doesn't really matter what they were saying, but how it sounds (regarding Wonderwaaaaaall) XD

The best Post Metal bands communicate all that emotional shit through instruments which is a far more honest and passionate way to communicate with the listener. MotA's Hate and Heartache is a prime example

Agreed ^^.
Mouth of the Architect are one of the best bands of the genre imo even though they probably aren't as well known as say ISIS or Neurosis.
