Opener is one of the best yeah. I love the guitar in that one, my boy Blake Mills plays on this and that’s the song where I can hear his touch most obviously.

Ok but it’s a Randy Newman Pixar song without Randy Newman so it’s automatically way better lol

It's definitely good but I don't know that I would consider it that much better than most of his other late-period stuff. I honestly think a little bit of the hype is people who are afraid he's going to do a Bowie or something.

I think part of my hype is certainly based in his age; not because I think he'll croak but because I think what he's doing is impressive for someone going on 80. The weathered/crackly vocals add charm. I'm not well-versed on his modern releases though, so this is sort of new for me.

I’d see this has more to chew over than anything he has released for years. The rumination of one of the old guard laid over some beautiful tunes and lovely wordplay that only Dylan can conjure up.

There’s not a weak point to be found, album is one of me faves of the last several years I absolutely love it.

Yeah that’s an absolute classic as well.

Key West is a stunner.

Jimmy Reed is like something off the Basement Tapes.

Murder Most Foul is incredible.

Plus the bite on False Prophet shows all the young fuckers how it’s done.

Glad you're liking it Sowing. And yeah his age definitely makes me like this more. A lot of the time when singers get old, their voice just sounds like a weaker version of what it used to be, but with Dylan it sounds like something completely different than it ever was. His vocals on Blonde on Blonde, Nashville Skyline and this sound like 3 completely different people.
