Yo Pots I checked out that Gang Starr album after I read your comment and god damn this record fucking owns! It's got a lot of '90s flavour, and I generally consider the '90s the best decade for rap. Should probably check out their other stuff. Also saw some people saying the rights were hard to obtain for this and that the producer basically had to pay out of his own pocket to make this happen. I'm guessing this has an interesting story behind it too

Digging this in a huge way. This album sort of just draws you in...slowly, warmly, like a good dream. I'm not usually a fan of this genre but this might be my top album of January.

This album keeps getting better the more I listen to it.
I Can See has taken over my brain. It's such a beautiful, haunting song that sounds incredibly alien and almost makes me uncomfortable. I can't stop thinking about it and how perfect this album is.
Btw, if you want to cry your eyes out, make the mistake I made last night and watch the music video for Best Day Ever by Mac.

A truly great album from a genre I don't really enjoy. The stretch from 'Complicated' to 'I Can See' is out of this world, and 'Surf' is also incredible. Could see this growing beyond my current score. Just love how chill the whole thing is.
