stumbled into this and was kinda blown away by the weird '80s aesthetic of the production, looking forward to another listen to get a better feel for the songs themselves

I thought I’d be a one-album-Angel-Olsen-kinda guy (My Woman’s good an’ all but not enough for me to hunt down everything else she’s done) but I’m glad I gave this a go, I think it’s so much better than her last. Lark is a beast. And Summer isn't getting enough love. Is it Dreamboat Annie era-Heart that it reminds me of?

but even then I'm just going off titles and maybe the ones I mentioned are the same songs and I just didn't realise :O

i've had enough

I dig the album prior to this one quite a bit so it's about time I give this one a go

finally got around to hearing Whole New Mess, 3.1 avg is kinda stupid. probably would be higher if it were advertised as a "demo version" of this album instead of a new record. the tunes work very well as sparse and stripped down as they are on that album. love Angel's warbly vocals
