Too shitty for me. The vocals ruin it entirely with the awful children "yeah"ing and Oliveri's attempt at sounding perverse just sounding stupid instead.

I prefer the live version. When i first heard the album version with the children I was like "come on really?"

No way, that track is killer all around.

I still dig it though.
Lullabies to Paralyze is the only QOTSA album I don't have.. I've heard some songs off it (Little Sister, In my head) but is the whole album good?

It's as solid as any other QOTSA album, imo. I think it has a little more straightforward and mainstream approach though, for the most part. I would even say it's an underrated album.

it's definitely better than era vulgaris and i prefer it to the debut.
the first half of the album especially has some really great songs

vis a vis the approach i'd say side 2 of the album is weirder than most qotsa

if songs for the deaf had the same production as this it'd be better

i prefer the production on songs for the deaf. the drums sound ten times better on that album.

everything else sounds absolutely dreadful though, just weak as shit and horribly compressed with next to no dynamic range
|

Their debut is one of my all time favourites.

If I ranked every single Queens song in order, Quick and to the Pointless would be in the bottom half.
