what kills the later albums is that the more prominent tilian gets, the more pointless and kind of annoying mess becomes, like would mess ever get a part today like he does on the jiggler or acceptance speech? no way right?

There's only one thing I like on the original more and it's the outro to Acceptance Speech. Tilian's layered vocal harmonies in the background are a little too quiet on this mix, but everything else just stomps the original

Every aspect of this is better the original mix, except for one thing. I can't believe they got rid of Tilian's "hush now don't you cryyyyy" at the beginning of Death of the Robot With Human Hair.

I wanted to do a DGD drum cover back in October, close to when this dropped, and Doom & Gloom is what struck with me most. After listening to that song like a hundred times, the rest of this all started to sink in with me substantially more
