Air Illusion and Shake My Blood start out way too similar. I have been listening in my car for the last few days and thought Air Illusion was on repeat every time Shake My Blood started.

Been jammin this shit a lot. Slaps and is also pretty emotional at points.

I almost wanted them to record a finished version of the songs along with the demos but this way makes sense in regards to what happened.

Tbh I would want my band mates to continue to work on the tracks longer if I were to pass away during production

Well from what I've read/heard they were having too much issues emotionally when they went back to work on this so I get it.

4/5 of the tracks were 'fully formed' already Brodsky said

Exactly what I was saying. It's not nearly as unfinished as people think, they were going for a lean, no-frills recording in the first place. They had all the time in the world to add stuff after Caleb's passing.

In case anyone doesn’t know, in a new interview Brodsky says they arranged the track listing from the best production quality to the lowest to give off the vibe that the album is slowly disintegrating.

"Led to the Wolves" is probably the biggest curveball of a track so far this year. With the context behind the album, I was expecting something similar to "Lunar Day" as a closer, but they go IN on the actual closer. It's a worthy jam, too.

Ah, sweet. No wonder it got rougher around the edges as it went on.

The thing is it just feels incomplete and disjointed. It's clearly unfinished but I think that's how it's supposed to be and I like it. Short and sweet and honors Caleb's memory. Though I understand many won't like that.
