Did not expect to like this album this music. If there's a most improved artist award it goes to Charlie Puth.

doo-woppy acapella as a genre is usually at least nice, but some "acapella" songs by pop artists that just have them singing without instruments can suck a lot hahaha

I really like Somebody Told Me and Slow It Down. Wouldn't call this an amazing record but I still see myself replaying this soon, which I wouldn't do with other pop-records

low expectations have really helped this record - its not one of the best pop albums of the decade but it definitely has a good 7 or 8 really catchy and fun jams. its just a shame guy cant write or perform a ballad.

it could have been a cool change of pace for this album, a full blown ballad

I personally don't understand the disliking for the softer tunes here, I think they're well executed, if only a little bit subtle.

First four tracks are all 5/5, past that it loses a lot of steam but I’m really loving those first four

I like this record more than basically any other album in 2018... either 2018 sucks or this is way better than it ought to be haha, don’t judge, dis good
