The Bowie vocals have continued into the next song, they're so funny I can't take this album at all seriously at this point...but, like that title 'ultracheese' something wonderful has happened...
...this has become a mildly enjoyable hokey comedy affair at this point and that boosts the expected 0.5 rating all the way up to a 'oh, Alex, you are funny when you do your Ziggy' 1.5

still figuring if if this Cave, Bowie, MGMT (or psychedelic postpunk if you prefer) version of Arctic Monkeys will work for them...I'll trust the reviewer that says it's a grower but this first listening has been a constant inner struggle for me.

Agree with Sowing here...I feel I need to give the benefit of doubt on this one. And they need a psychedelic tag now. For me MGMT did a 3 to 3.5 job this year. This one is like a 2.5 to 3 for now.
