Hahaha thanks bloc, although I wouldn't consider myself a metal staple given my amount of comments.
I joined this site last year, and I only show up to review and bump modern/classic thrash albums that apparently not a lot of users care about lol

@RippingCorpse, well yeah, with the exception of Psalm 69 this has more comments than any other Ministry album which is really weird... The band unfortunately isn't very popular around here.

Twilight Zone kinda has a cool grove/vibe to it. We'll see how the rest of the album holds up.

I guess if the Republican party is good for anything, it's bringing out old musicians to write angsty new albums.
That's not saying much about either, though.

@Davil667 That's sad mate. Band needs more love here.

How to be incredibly out of touch, the album.

Yeah the references will sound dated by the end of the year

Finally listened to this. I was disappointed. It's decent, but a bit bare-bones. Still much better than the past couple efforts, and I hope it will give Ministry some forward momentum for a superior album in the future. Also, if I hear that fucking Great Dictator speech for the billionth time in a song I will blow my brains out.

Band should've disbanded after Filth Pig.

@Ripping Implying he hasn't already done albums with short term references before (Bush trilogy?)
Al says that this is a snapshot of the current landscape. Considering the current landscape is a car crash, it makes sense that the album is.

new world order

Nude war order

@DatsNotDaMetulz Yeah bro talking about Ministry without mentioning politics is like talking about Kreator without the ''save the world from the capitalist evils'' type of lyrics or Sodom without the war-related lyrics and stuff.

Not even close to being the worst Ministry cover. Let me refer you to Relapse.

Perhaps but it still sucks

I like the cover. It's very... direct.
|

Maybe that's why I hate it
