I need to listen to this some more. Used to love MGMT and kind of gave this a couple half hearted listens but never invested a great deal of time in it. Even in my half-assed listens I still remember really enjoying a lot of songs.

MGMT is such an anomoly for me. I absolutely LOATHE synth pop bullshit but something about what MGMT does makes it different. They are very good live btw. At least they are now, I heard they used to be bad but they nailed when I saw them last February.

MGMT fucking whips live. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Excellent use of stage props as well. Crystal sound. Everything was iron tight.

I fucking told you man. They really are incredible. TSLAMP is a pretty terrible song but when they played it live I could feel every note of that sweet sweet bassline crawling up my ribcage. Fucking wonderful.
