Really? This is way more raw than anything Agalloch ever did. Have you tried listening to this with the lyrics up? It makes a pretty big difference. I would just put Black Sun and Vestige Of Thorns on a loop in fact. You didn't even dig the last song? Pure fan-service and a perfect meld of Mantle and Ashes with a sprinkle of Marrow.
