So far it's their weakest album, but it's growing on me.. at the moment it's a solid 4

This is better than I thought. And "crack of light" is prob the best thing they've done in 10 years, what a tune!

So I gave this a listen and as a person who has 5'd both previous albums this would be somewhere between a 3 and 3.5. Maybe it will grow, who knows.

I still think the acapella skits are pointless though and there's way too many on this album.

the trees, DOADD, opacities were all flawless. this was an inevitable let down for me. I fucking LOVED how focused opacities was, didn't overstay its welcome and had killer tracks. It was the perfect comeback.

Should have taken their time and maybe tried another EP idfk

Em I thought it was a solid EP. Probably around a 3.5 to 4 right now. But I doubt it will have the longevity that the older albums have.

The more I listen the more the hooks dig in me. I still think it lacks a big, catchy banger like Flogging the Horses or Pussyfoot, but Golden Cufflinks is a pretty great continuation of the Peepshow --> Where do We Fall type. This is a 4 for me.
