The song encapsulates a monstrous city tho, so I'm fine with it.

yea that title could easily be on the new metallica album
can look over it though

Danny Brown, ETID, Touche Amore, Bon Iver, Angel Du$t, Weekend Nachos, NAILS, Polyenso, PUP, and this are all Top 10 worthy for me.

Yeah, it's a dumb song title. But it sounds awesome when Jens yells it, so whatever.

This is great, guitar solos still sound like nonsense to me though. When that first one comes in on clockworks its like ughhhhhhh

Increases to the chaos man, swirling over the grooves.
Adds to the monolithic atmosphere imo.

"Adds to the chaos man, swirling over the grooves."
I can see that intention there, but the way they are produced they just sound like they aren't even part of the song to me, like they're just copied and pasted over everything else. I know this is just a small personal gripe of mine, other than that I think they're great.

Same here, something about it is just an a whole other level of intensity compared to Koloss, and I dug that album.

Makes Koloss look pretty weak in comparison.

Agreed bruh, Monstrocity is pretty unabashedly groovy even by Meshuaggah standards. Done so well.

meshuggah are not one of my favorite bands so i had no particular expectations for this, but it was so good that it renewed my interest in the band
