I can't even see Sempiternal as real progress, in a way it is but with it the band is not even dumb core enough to be jammed as a dumb core band.. if this even makes sense

If I don't like the direction I'm hardly likely to enjoy it, no. But I've never really enjoyed the band and Oli's vocals are awful, so the combination of those deserve a 1. But hey, it's my opinion, others probably enjoy it a lot.

Avalanche and Drown are pretty catchy as far as anthemic rock goes, and have an interesting harmonic and melodic combo to them. If they fused that with their earlier sound, I believe they could've had a real winner here.
