You should definitely check An Embrace of Angels - 'Ere January Be Unwintered. Probably a 5 in my book, it's at that level. Amazing blend of skramz with post-metal atmosphere. It's an album that's not talked about nearly as much as it should be and deserves to be in the emo conversation just as much as Funeral Diner and the like.
Also, The Moirai - Bury Yourself. If you've ever heard/liked Penfold, it's literally the same band (vocals, etc.) except for maybe one member change--not sure who/what. The self-titled track in particular has such a sorrowful atmosphere around it, it's incredible.

Gotta spread the gospel my man. A 4.0 average and less tan 30 ratings is criminal, especially considering it actually has a review.

I love Funeral Diner, so this should definitely be up my alley!

Then you'll love The Moirai. Like I said, it's Penfold but with a different name. Maybe a bit more emo than Penfold I guess? I don't know. Not too many differences.

I think people should prefer this over Best Buds (mom jeans.), it has a better pacing to it and I remembered more of the tracks.
Also, who thinks Sweet Tooth is better than Best Buds?

This band never topped the sound they had here tbh, miss the light math/indie leanings of this, went full pop-punk instead.
