I've been a fan of HIL for a LONG time and love everything they've released, but I'm surprised how well this is being received. It's awesome, but it's not at the level of It Hates You. I honestly believe that album is one of the greatest and most unique post-hardcore albums ever written.

Sadly disappointed. There's definitely some jams on this, but not nearly enough. The vocal sound effects added in certain songs really are just an attempt to mask the fact that he cannot sing like he used to.

This is definitely a grower, just like IHY. The thing is, I've never heard a band who puts out an album that absolutely hooks you after a few spins like this band does. Their last two albums are two of my favorites.

From what I've heard so far, if you liked It Hates You, you will like this too. Sounds pretty similar in my opinion. It's definitely gonna grow on me.
