OMG this. What We Loved Was Not Enough is like at GYBE's Worried Fire's level of sheer brilliance.

This instrumental side is great, but those whiny vocals...

I love the vocals, the album gets even more emotional with them. It sort of reminds me of that Arcade Fire dude whose name I don't remember now.

I hated Efrim's vocals when I first heard Horses in The Sky years ago, but now I love them. Even

though they're technically pretty terrible, they're perfect in context with the lyrical themes & the

musical backdrop.

Idk why people like the title, it's just words thrown together. It makes no sense and means
nothing.

I love his vocals, so much pain and fragility. Exactly the same reason I love Jeff Mangum's

"The word Mom /mĘŚm/ rhymes with gum, probably due to the the Canadian use of the word "Mum", rather than the Americanised "Mom""

I like the title...

It's nice to finally hear the other side of the godspee gang realize their potential, this album is definitely at the top of mt zion's discography.

Vocals definitely have a roger waters cum win butler feel. Not the best thing ever, but I like em a decent bit.

It sort of gives me that smile We Drift Like Worried Fire gives. Both quality songs.
