Nice lists here.

The Black Halo is so good that even its bonus track is better than most songs on the other albums.

"Hoping to get Poetry and Karma when I get the chance."

Let me give you an adivince concerning Poetry, don't lose your hope after 4 listenings.

Oh wow, first time I hear "Epilogue", the bonus track you mentioned. It's awesome!

Dream bro Epica 5th for real?

anyway I never understood how people think Black Halo is the best. it has nowhere near the depth, and songwriting of Epica, and you could even make a case for Karma being better

Ehehe, I'll tell you this man, Epica is probably the Kamelot album with the most replay value to me. Bought it like 6 years ago and is still fresh, the only problem is, despite having no fillers there's not a song I'd rank in my Kamelot fav songs.

"Oh wow, first time I hear "Epilogue", the bonus track you mentioned. It's awesome!"

Why they left it out of the final lineup for the album is beyond me, really.

not even Centre of the Universe man? i agree tho TBH has some awesome highlights, but there are some filler and some of the songwriting on it means that it doesn't have as much replay value.

hey Center of the Universe has probably the best Youngblood's solo, and great song for sure. Also Farwell and At the Edge of Paradise rock my socks.. but they still have so much better though. :P

@Dreamflight I've listened to most of the Poetry songs and they're pretty good. I mean it's not Kamelot's best but they're still pretty good. And the song Karma is just absolutely amazing (at least I think it is), it was the first song I ever listened to by Kamelot and it is still my favorite song by them.

And I never really lost hope about Poetry, Kamelot is just badass in general, I don't think they ever had a bad release yet.

yea some tracks just are nowhere near as good as some of the highlights. in other words, the quality isn't consistent across the board.

@Toondude10

eheh I thought you haven't heard it, my bad then. Karma was my first one too, thanks to that old

anime video on youtube, and still one of my all time favs.

"I did, still can't get into it."

Not even Hunter's Season? I gotta tell you it took me like 3 years to fully understand that album.

Sure I still can't get over some songs like Seal of Woven Years, but album is really unique, I

wouldn't even dare call it power metal.

Strange, it's probably the most consistent album I own

'Not even Hunter's Season?'

That song isn't bad, but it just seems like a really weak record. Everyone seems to be on autopilot

@Dreamflight Anime video? Where?

And btw, I meant that I haven't listened to Poetry in full, so I still need to find a way to get it. And by the way it sounds so far it's pretty decent.

Silverthorn is still really good though. After about 3 listens or so it just started to click for me.

"guys lets rank Kamelot."

I would try but this effort would be futile. My top 3-4 Kamelot albums are like interchangeable since they're all great and of similar quality.

My ranking of the Kamelot albums:

1. The Black Halo

2. Epica

3. Karma

4. The Fourth Legacy

5. Silverthorn

6. Ghost Opera

7. Poetry for the Poisoned

8. Dominion

9. Siege Perilous

10. Eternity

Silverthorn and Ghost Opera are pretty much interchangeable for me, although I do find myself listening to Silverthorn

a lot more often. I appreciate Silverthorn MUCH more after reading the story book, which can be read here

Here we go...

1. The Black Halo

2. Epica

3. Karma

4. Silverthorn

5. Ghost Opera

6. Poetry for the Poisoned

7. The Fourth Legacy

8. Siege Perilous

9. Dominion

10. Eternity

First two are quite interchangeable, 3 to 6 are VERY close to each other. Kamelot have always done high quality stuff since The Fourth Legacy.
