wow, this sounds pretty bad. I've been wanting to listen to say anything because i never really got into them even though i've heard stuff i liked. I guess ill avoid this one.

The first four songs on this album are all fantastic, contrary to popular belief. But most people will see this review and decide to never check them out, just because of the bad rating. Nothing against the review, it's very well written, but it just sucks that so many people will dismiss even listening to an ounce of this because of the negative reviews. I do that too, but situations like these make me realize I need to disregard what the majority has to say more of the time. Honestly, this is an album that's quite enjoyable, and Admit It Again is my favorite one on the album.

Not surprised at all by the hate for this album. I'm still going to give it a listen. I'm not going to be shocked either if it actually is good, and I like it. Users on this site generally have pretty insanely high standards for what they expect from an album.

Listened to first song. Laughed.

I actually like Say Anything, but fuck Burn A Miracle is so.... underwhelming / shitty? Those lyrics are atrocious.

Man, it really does feel like I'm listening to a different album than all of you guys. I mean, the album has its moments, but people prefer the self-titled to this?

Aw... I really wanted this to be good.

Bitter?
Very well written but you've pretty much blamed Bemis for every mistake. It's hard to take the review's score seriously when all I can see is a hurt fan who's expectations of an album weren't met.

But are you strong enough to point that high-powered perception at yourself? Talk about petty insolence... you gave The Path of Totality a 1.0 ... time to grow up

I haven't been this disappointed for an album I was enthusiastic to hear since Incubus's latest If Not Now, When?
Bemis has been neutered.

Not going to lie, I also did. Idk if I want to listen to the rest of this.

I actually wasn't surprised by how shit this is. I genuinely felt after their self titled that they were going to drop the standard.
