I keep forgetting how much most people on this website hate any kind of extended, in-depth debate or conversation.
no that's not it at all. I engage in in-depth conversations about music here all the time. It's just not worth my time trying to convince someone of the influence of Radiohead when it's an almost indisputable fact.

I've said like, five different times now that I wasn't disputing the fact that OK Computer was a hugely influential record. I'm disputing the idea that the record "revolutionized" or "re-invented" the entire genre of alternative rock, which I think is extremely hyperbolic, and I explained why I feel that way.
And no, nothing in art is an "indisputable fact". All art is entirely 100% subjective.

Because like all of mankind I am cursed with the somewhat laughable idea that whatever my opinion is on something, it's inevitably the "correct" one. Damn my feeble humanity. Damn it all to hell. Pretty much all of us are cursed with it. Hence why we all spend so much time rambling about music on this here wonderful website.

Wonderful review man. I have to say that The King Of Limbs caught me a little off guard at first; it drifted from Greenwood's alternative style guitar riffs to more of a Thom Yorke Eraser-esque sound. Regardless, I fell in love with it and I feel it was an incredible edition. Now this, this is just the icing on the cake.

Sorry if I got too wordy for my own good, I'm just used to these extended, wordy debates on most other web forums I post at. The argument may be about semantics, but I just thought it would be nice to express an otherwise unpopular opinion on this site. The difference between just making a classic and timeless album like OK Computer and actually "reinventing/revolutionizing" an entire genre of music is a pretty big one to me. 'Twas my only "point" here, I apologize if it came off as overly cynical or critical.
