Reclaim This Gold is probably the best on here

"1.) Deathcore-esque/typical proggy cover and title

2.) "As well as the lead vocalist’s roar, backing vocals give high pitched, piercing screams"

3.) They guy in the band pic is wearing a Periphery shirt.

Yeah, fuck this I'm staying far away."

1 & 3. I don't really see what that has to do with the music. And the "Preserving Legacy" bit was added after the vocalist died

2. Then I either worded it wrong or you're getting the wrong impression

the vocals are enough to make this worth listening to. the other components of the band aren't quite as spectacular, but everything really is fantastic here. great album

Just listened to a few songs from this and just based off of that, this would be no more than a 2.5 or a 3.

It's a million times better than a lot of deathcore people give 3s to on this website

^what I was thinking

I hate to say it but I think it's mainly because the vocalist died in tragic circumstances
The same thing happened when The Rev died, everyone suddenly thought he was the best drummer ever when he was actually nothing special

I actually say his vocals are the best in deathcore his lows and growls are outstanding and I would say that if he were still alive today. I am going to drop this to 4 though because I really did rate this to highly at first.
