See, we had to find a lyric that reflected our view in the state of the American dream in 2010 and tie it in with another thing we've read this year.
But my point was that the song expresses not the falsity of the Dream, but how many people delude themselves into believing in its absolute nature, and use it as a crutch on which to live their lives rather than as something you have to work for to achieve.
