Defiant Imagination is maybe a little more interesting, but this still has riffs in abundance.

Give a Montreal man a guitar and who gives a fuck.
Give a Montreal man a fretless bass and watch him become a god.

This is a killer album, it just keeps on growing & it's damn consistent throughout. So many memorable riffs and I love the way the riffs and melodies are knitted together without sounding messy. Really top notch melodic tech.
Screw it, bumping this up.
Defiant Imagination rules too but I've not checked the debut yet, I might need to take the plunge despite the average.
