CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM, is well thought out, mature sensible, and intelligent. there is absolutely nothing constructive about some asshole who has a problem with the fact that I don’t blindly worship Metallica, and then decides to fill up the comment box with things that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the review. And btw, I bet you there are many people who would agree with me about what i said about opeth and dragonforce being lame, overrated, and mediocre. And the fact that i stated that does not in any way make me stupid. And no, im not an Elite "know it all" of music as you said, but, I do has some knowledge of music, especially in the thrash genre and i believe that there are many people who feel that they are an authority of music, and have not a clue....

@SCREAM! Thats not true at all, take this band for intense, who can be extremly fast or very slow, yet they are complex. tempo has nothing to do with the complexity of the mucic. But, im my oppinion, i think it is more challenging to make complex music at high speeds then at slower tempos, because there is much more to take into account, but that's just an oppinion. and the whole thing about opeth, has nothing to do with this, and i didnt say anywhere that slow music cant be complex. I just tend to prefer faster music. So if you're trying to mock me, make sure you get youre facts right.

When not blast-beating away at what I believe to be record holding tempos, even their thrash beats are fast as ***, and easily over 380BPM.
Lol

'nd no, im not an Elite "know it all" of music as you said, but, I do has some knowledge of music'

Anyone with any sort of musical knowledge beyond the mainstream would know Opeth and Dragonforce are miles apart, regardless if they think Opeth are overrated or even dislike them.

I bet you haven’t even heard any songs from this band. So many people are ignorant about bands like this that its, not even funny.

@hollier you don't speak for me, and when did I say, they were of the same style? What I mean by in the same legue was in terms of talent, not genre. You obviously missunderstood my comment. Either that, or I wasnt being clear enouph.

Thats it, i wasnt sure but theres not way this guy isnt a troll
Opeth and dragonforce same amount of talent lololol

And yeah i wouldnt have made that claim without listening to a least a few songs (though the one you specifically mentionned in the review for its speed)

"(though the one you specifically mentionned in the review for its speed)", yes, that was part of it, in addition to the band's complexity, not just speed alone. A band can play at 300bpm, and sound like crap. this band play even faster yet sound very organized, and technical at the same time. that was my point. The fact that the can mix speed and complexity so well. and i have heard songs from Opeth, and like i said, i dont consider the GODLY, like some people.

no that comment meant talent, maybe i was a bit too vague for ur understanding. Same talent? i can prove u wrong in an instance (if ur not an idiot). Lets take dragonforce, for the past 2 albums they have had the same song structure over and over. You only need to compare the singles through the fire and the fames and heroes of our time, practically identical. Now take the title tracks from both Blackwater Park and Deliverance, both around the same length (13 mins) but any idiot could tell the differences in song structure and so on. You only have to listen to them both one after the other to tell the difference. As i said in your shoutbox, think Opeth are exaggerated talent? fair enough. But at least compare them to a band i can actually take seriously so your opinion actually means something other than a joke.

Origin can play extremely techincal stuff extremely fast (faster than this, but quite frankly I'm not going to make up a random bpm figure), but that doesn't make them a good band.

Behemoth and Anaal Nathrakh both play faster than this and both are good bands (not gonna start comparing quality cause all 3 are in different genres and its a matter of personal taste)
