Downloaded this while on a break from playing Resident Evil 5, and I have to say this rawks.

This sounds awesome, after only hearing one song of their myspace. Need this now.

Nice. I should check this out. I've only ever heard Potemkin City Limits but How to Clean Everything comes highly recommended from a friend.

This gets better the more I listen to it.

Goddamnit, this is so freaking good. Night Letters is pretty much the musical version of sex. And then Supporting Caste is like round two.

The one thing that bothers me about this is the vocals, they seem really bland. I'm hoping they'll grow on me but at the moment they stick out quite badly.

After a few more listens I don't think this is better than PCL. Still great though.

^ I still like this a bit more, but when a band I like puts out a new album that's good, it takes me a while to calm down. But I still love the Potemkin City Limits album even now. May downgrade this after another listen or two.

ALEX (or anyone else that has heard this multiple times to take the lyrics in); I have been reading a few other reviews about this album & the one possible negative is that if you don't agree with a lot of their political & social stances, then this can get too preachy, and even worse, crossing the line into condescending.
Thoughts...

I don't find it bad at all, but that's just me.

Unless you're the type who's easily angered by opposing viewpoints, you should be fine with it. It doesn't affect me at all. Songs like Human(e) Meat are really bitter, sarcastic attacks on post-vegetarianism and eating animals, and even though I love meat, I still appreciate the lyrics because they're so cleverly written.

I'm trying to check out as much new stuff as possible, so I'll have to give this a listen.
Btw when is the charts section going to be updated to 2009 albums? I need to know what I've missed.

Well answered kirgasm & I'm not easily offended, so this should be fine.
