Classic album really. Love the heavy break in Red is the New Black. So simple but so effective as it contrasts with the chorus.

Waking Up and Bullet Theory still two of the best songs in the whole genre

I doubt it. The band members have all moved to different countries (Matt moved to Germany a couple of years ago) and have family commitments, hence why there's only two shows. The main reason they're doing this is to raise funds for the family of a friend of theirs who's terminally ill.

They kinda fell off a bit with everything they did after Hours tbh so im pretty fine with just this.
Would be nice if there were more than just two shows but its not like theyd come over to my area. Good ol Maritime Canada and our lack of actually interesting shows. Nice that theyre willing to put away their personal lives for a little bit just to help out.

I'm probably biased as they're my favourite band, but I love pretty much everything they've done other than Tales and Memory & Humanity.
Yeah, more shows would be nice, but of course, the band have all moved on and have full time jobs and families to support now.

Tales is easily their worst but Memory and Humanity had its moments imo.
I dont think they ever made a bad album aside from Tales but I do think they still never could reach the high of their early stuff.

Debut is still their best.

Listened to all of Tales today on the drive to paying bills and going to work and it was a great listen. Some banger songs on there as well. We really should not have ostracized that album like all of us did.

I prefer Hours to this, but it’s still a very close second.
As for Tales, that and Memory & Humanity are my least favourites of theirs. Tales is good, but lacks the aggressive elements that drew me to the band to begin with, and M&H is a bit too dull for my liking with only a handful of decent songs (which I guess was the result of them rushing the album out because they wanted to release something before Atlantic released a Greatest Hits album).

Guess I'll finally check this band.

Didn’t get tickets for the show unfortunately. I was on the SeeTickets page since 8 AM refreshing the page constantly, then got put in a queue when the tickets went on sale and then the tickets were gone once I got through which was very frustrating. I definitely wasn’t alone since practically everyone on my Twitter had a similar experience.
While I’m happy for those that managed to get tickets, I’m very pissed off about the ticket touts who have pounced on this event and bought up tickets to sell them for ridiculous prices.

Ended up getting a ticket for the London show in the end as they released more the Friday before. Was such a great show, they mainly played songs from Casually Dressed which was no bad thing, although a couple more Hours songs would have been nice.

Got to see them on their farewell tour where they played this and Hours in full over two nights. Ace

I saw them on that tour too playing Hours in full, was a hell of a good show. Each of the three times I saw them live, they were consistently awesome

Man. This just popped up on Spotfy while I was working. Insane. I haven't listened for what feels like ages but I remembered every note after all this time.
I mainly associate this with being in high school and college and skipping classes in both to play World of Warcraft. It all came flooding back. This and Hours are classics. I remember being disappointed with their 2008 release and kind of ignoring them ever since
They would have been cool to see live.
