It's not a legitimate genre. It does not need to make sense. Sporkcore is everything from Diablo Swing Orchestra to Oingo Boingo

And Devo and Zappa both influenced one of the most spork genres. Zolo.

I'm still not sure I know what zolo is either, but apparently that no-wave band Bound & Gagged counts and I like them

Zolo is basically just music with quirky keyboards and jerky rhythms. (Devo influenced stuff, Cardiacs etc )
