SOAD is considered by most to be nu-metal and they were the only non-shitty ones in that list

Well, yeah whatever.... It does not necessarily have to be put in a category, but some seem to like doing it (Nonpoints great though...) As this is CoB discussion, I will leave my last post here, hoping you will sometime Change you mind(pun inteded), if not (which is more probable)-enjoy listening to shrieking about nonsense( If you are finally able to understand the structure of the sentence in the lyrics, you will find yourself being unable to see what the fuck he meant, cos it really makes NO sense)- Defend your kingdom of Bodom or whatever it is and search for the treasure that will make you immortal (not sure if it is somewhere in the lyrics, but it really sound like thing CoB would come up with) Howgh

I agree that MythenTHEking you are trying too hard, different people just lke different music, and CoB is a pretty talented band tbh and their music is rather cool, but I like that youi are standing up for nu metal which takes too much crap anyway.

SOAD is considered by most to be nu-metal and they were the only non-shitty ones in that list

dude Nonpoint rules face, and even if you dont' like them they are definitely NOT

a shitty band. Even Disturbed are rather good at what they do but I can see how many people think they are shit (ahem, elitists).

I know Disturbed aren't that bad really. I will check out Nonpoint if they are so good

If you don't like nu metal then I suggest you don't bother yourself. But if you are an openminded guy who is willing to give even nu metal a chance then go ahead and do check them out, just for the love of god, not their last album

"Children of Decadence" absolutely DESTROYS me. Definitely a quintessential power metal album / quintessential extreme metal album. Necessary for anyone's collection.

Not to mention an absolutely INSANE live band.

The title track is great. Everything else is pretty much boring. Good musicians, though.

At least it's better than Blooddrunk... *shudder*

Maybe a high point in CoB's career, but that's not saying much. Still don't like this album and I've spun it quite a few times. The riffs get old because of the tempo. And the keyboards are too loud for me, but I'm not grading it on that.

Oh well.

If SOADs last 2 albums are bad then I had to change my rating on this to 1. It sucks soooooo badly. (As if you cared btw )
