This grew off me a little, the best parts of this record are seriously some of the best music I’ve heard in a while, but I feel like there’s a few songs that drag. I really don’t feel like this needs to be 75 minutes.

ptolemaea is perfect imo, and I don’t mind August Underground. But yeah Western Nights goes way too long for not a lot of payoff.

I wouldn’t necessarily cut any of the tracks, I think somebody just should’ve gone up to her in the studio and been like “hey, do all of these songs really need to be 6-7+ minutes long? Because most of them don’t.
House in Nebraska is great but good god, does it really need to be 8 minutes? There’s not any fat that we could’ve trimmed? I feel similarly about a few other tracks.
