Bless the Martyr to me is just a poor man's Botch and really sounds incredibly disjointed. I liked O'God a lot more

i mean, you can hear the influence, but its not so far as theyre just straight up plagiarizing them

I like all their albums but Wrongdoers & Meridional in particular. This band have really evolved, never quite doing the same thing twice but it's always unmistakably Norma Jean. Respect.



On this latest album they sound so re-invigorated and inspired, there's a real sense of urgency but at the same time it sounds well thought out and sincere. Awesome stuff.
