While Slow Riot does get awfully close sometimes, this one has always remained on top for me. A 90 minute journey of musical bliss

This is definitely a journey. I still haven't pieced anything together, but this tells an incredible story.

I view F#A#(Infinity) and Lift Your Skinny Fists as connected records in a way

That F# is a world dying in a slow, painful matter.

While Skinny Fists is after the fact, and the world comes back to life in other regards

that while humanity has died, the planet will live *on

To me, this album is pretty much the rise and height of someone's life (being happy and feeling like your world is perfect) in the beginning of Storm and then the downfall as heard in the 2nd half of Storm and Static. Then Sleep and Antennas To Heaven is pretty much getting back up again and moving on. That's why it's pretty damn emotional for me. Godspeed can be so uplifting.

Monheim might be my favorite passage of music by this band.

I'd imagine this would sound kinda scary at some points on acid lol especially Static.

Never done it but all my friends that have done it say they prefer uplifting electronic stuff like Tycho or jazz on acid. Idk how different it is for everyone.

Things like this, Coil, PsychicTV, Neurosis, Gorguts had given me vicious trips on acid. Converge is fun too.

I just stick to weed. Stuff like Porcupine Tree, Isis, Sigur Ros and Tool have been jaw dropping experiences high.

Well, I smoke weed erryday, so practically listen to all my music when getting high(bong rules, coz it takes you some time to smoke it), but new stuff is always more fun to listen when high. Acid is a whole lot another deal, I mean you get a synesthesia most of the time, and believe me, you'll be amazed at your brain capabilities. Imagine Oceanic which is really around you, you can see the music like it's a photon waves. Truly a memorable experience if you have it.
