Absolution is their best without a doubt

might peek that remix, see if I can ignite some nostalgia
always went back and forth on this vs Abso back in the day, settled on Abso despite this one having comparable highs

I won't appologize for liking Simulation Theory

Album Rating: 5.0
Sims Theory gud, guys. You can live in denial, but thaf doesn't make your opinions any less scientifically wrong
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
is that why it's the lowest rated muse album on the website
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
simulation theory sounds exactly like the album cover
muse aping synthwave in the most self-deprecating manner imaginable
|
| |
Album Rating: 5.0
synthwave barely even is a component of that albums sound, you're unironically successfully blinded by that album cover pika this is hilarious
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
synthwave elements are present in pretty much every song
that's why I said 'aping'
they put their own contemporary muse ego-rock stamp on that sound and the end result was a fucking aural atrocity of gargantuan proportions

| |
Album Rating: 5.0
Yea, putting your own spin on something is having an ego, how dare these fucks

hope you can one day be less cynical about art pika.
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.5
pika ain’t cynical enough for me, way too many generous ratings
I did actually listen to this (and Abso) last year and Johnny’s take is unnervingly accurate considering it’s him
all about New Born, Space Dementia & Citizen Erased plus a couple of others maybe - used to dig the hell out of Hyper Music and Bliss too (well all of it actually, once upon a time).
