"Funny that he talked shit about Wilson to a fan, maybe they were quarreling at the time or something." i should've specified- he has a lot of family in my hometown whom I've spent a decent chunk of time around over the years, especially his nephews, so we've crossed paths a few times. he told me that while we were drinking beer and watching the Eagles Pats SB a few years ago at a mutual buddy's place before segueing into how they gave Coheed their first practice space when they were starting out lol. small world, to be sure.

That’s interesting, I assume you’re talking about Chris Maitland? He was their drummer for nearly 10 years I think, the one Gavin replaced.

I didn't even know who 3 was until I looked them up. They seem like a pretty cool band though

Ah I see. Never heard of 3 either but will given them a listen.

they've made some damn good prog over the years tbh. i blame marketing struggles for their lack of mainstream success, plus having the worst fucking band name ever. I gotta be in the right mood for them these days, but i would recommend their last album, which for whatever reason is under "Three" on Spotify, while the rest of their discog is under "3." React is the biggest earworm, but the whole thing slaps

Yeah, this is worth a 5. One of the most thorough works SW has created.

I just 5’d it like two days ago as well. Flawless piece of art right here.

Nothing can touch Raven

Raven’s great too, but I think it’s a tad too indebted to the 70s prog sound. Whereas this feels like a perfect combination of the 70s influences and PT’s more alternative stuff
