It's not just this artist though. It's all this "cloud" or "atmospheric" work which has a basis in style with absolutely zero substance. It adds nothing to your life. You'd be just as well off stepping outside hearing your neighbor farting as he bends over to pick up his morning paper.

I want music to shock me. All this does is numb me. I don't want to forget my day. I want to be reminded how much it either ruled or completely blew. To me, these things should be amplified by music. But of course I'm an individual who rarely, at most, uses music to wind down.
