I know this is a ridiculous thing to think, but 'The Bars' is also a weaker track for me because I just can't shake the Sum 41 Deryck Whibley comparisons in the way the chorus vocals are delivered. That's on me, not them, but still...

No there's nothing wrong with Deryck Whibley at all. I don't know why I have this negative reaction to it.

I also had the exact same Whibley reaction to FIDLAR's "Stupid Decisions" chorus, though to be fair that song and album are way inferior to this.

I only listened to On the Impossible Past a few times and it didn't really sink in. Thinking that I should do a deep dive in to their discography given how awesome this is.
