Yeah I think the closer is the weakest song. Everything up to that point is great.

Black Mass is the weakest for me.

House on fire is top 5 for me... I don't see what everybody loves about the Bars though.

I know this is a ridiculous thing to think, but 'The Bars' is also a weaker track for me because I just can't shake the Sum 41 Deryck Whibley comparisons in the way the chorus vocals are delivered. That's on me, not them, but still...

I don't see the resemblance, but it's not like Deryck Whibley is the worst vocalist ever anyway.

the bars might be my least fav now too but it's still a nice song.

No there's nothing wrong with Deryck Whibley at all. I don't know why I have this negative reaction to it.
I also had the exact same Whibley reaction to FIDLAR's "Stupid Decisions" chorus, though to be fair that song and album are way inferior to this.

This might actually be their best album, which is saying something.

OTIP is one of my favorite albums of all time, so it's hard to top, but I have no problem saying that this is their second best. Bad Catholics is such a fun jam.

honestly surprised how well this is holding up for me
their latest two had good highlights but a lot of less interesting stuff too
this doesn't even throw much of a change-up, it's just way more consistent

rented world is their most consistent easily for me. this is pretty consistent up until bad catholics but for the most part i like everything here

I only listened to On the Impossible Past a few times and it didn't really sink in. Thinking that I should do a deep dive in to their discography given how awesome this is.
