Sci Fi worst Chevelle? One of my favorites

Sci-Fi is in the middle of their discog for me (Sleep Apnea is second only to Family System for best opener though). I'd say Hats off to the Bull is my least favorite.

new album's gonna be more melodic compared to the last two, says Pete. which I like, cause while these albums were great, the heaviness would start to get old and melodic songs are something they excel at.

Hats off is my most favorite Chevelle album and is probably their most melodic? So hyped for the new one

Hats off would be one of their best if it didn't fell off in the second half. Of all their later albums this is the one I keep coming back to the most.

I didn't like Last Days on first listen but now it's one of my favorites here. This has better replay value for me probably because it riffs and it's very well produced. Pretty stoked for the new one.

Envy is one of their best songs imo, but the rest of that album is pretty forgettable to me.

I kinda prefer heavier Chevelle, but a lot of their more melodic stuff is super catchy and great, so either way, I'm good

More Chevelle please

I'd say TTOT is my fave to date.

They were due for a more melodic album after going pretty hard with the last two releases, so definitely looking forward to that. As for SFC, it is top notch Chevelle with holding arguably one of their best tracks, This Circus.

TTOT is my #2, nothing will ever dethrone WWN in my mind.

Wonder What’s Next is great but I think a lot of their other albums have more highs. No lows on WWN necessarily but it doesn’t have certain songs from HOTTB, SFC, TTOT, VS.

Idek where WWN sits on my ranking anymore but most of their albums are 4s-4.5s so it’s not a huge difference

The album art for this drives me insane. It looks like it's a picture of the art taken with flash on a camera that's too bright and/or too close and I don't know why.

Wonder What's Next is my favorite, E Z. if you wanna talk about high highs, I think An Evening with El Diablo is their best song overall

Now that you mention it, it does kinda look like that. Never really noticed that circle of slightly brighter section in the middle before

Heck yeah heck, Evening with El Diablo is one of my favorites, too
