I've always felt that Jerry was as equally important as Layne. I love Layne as much as everyone else does, but I'm glad they're still kicking and if they're going to make music that sounds like this it's totally Alice In Chains signature. Hell, even Jerry's solo material sounds like AIC he.. breathes it. It took what 15 years roughly for this? It's gotta mean somethin' special. I couldn't picture anyone else, but Alice In Chains making this record.

i'll be in the minority here and claim that Jerry has been the most valuable

Nah not the minority bud, I was going to say that Titan, but didn't want to upset anyone, you broke the ice instead! Ha, and I agree wholeheartedly.

This is the best reincarnation possible of AiC. The new singer nails it.

Jerry Cantrell has always been one of my favorite musicians even though Alice In Chains is no where near one of my favorite bands (although they were in the 90's). His style and solos are so tasteful.

We all miss the man, he's iconic. I saw em' he was friggen great, fucking drugs; it's a real shame, mega talent. I remember when Layne passed too must have been a year or so before Dime, gut wrenching news.

Dime was earth shattering, particularly because of how it happened

Yeah, it was a terrible loss, same as Dime.

Wrong place at the wrong time, crazed mentally-ill ex-fan. It's disturbing, I was a huge fan for years at that point.. couldn't fucking believe it when I saw it Titan. I was even thinking about seeing Damageplan too cause I knew a pantera show wasn't happening anytime soon.

yeah I wouldn't argue with Jerry being the most integral member

an AIC without him woulda been more blasphemous than one without Layne, as much as he is missed

I hope all you fine folks have checked Boggy Depot and Degradation Trip.

Tell me then AIC could have existed in any fashion without Cantrell.

It's actually easy to overlook cantrell's vox on old AiC because he sang so often
