i think i'm just an oddity - i think show no mercy is nearly flawless, and everything with RiB and after is really bland. show no mercy had a lot of NWOBHM in it so maybe that's why

Reign In Blood ripped my fucking head off when I first heard it, whereas show no mercy slightly decapitated it. Ha ha, I don't know, all great picks.. After this one they lost me. Titan, I still have it bud, was awesome looking.

That's exactly how I feel, and still feel about it Titan, not the Slayer I want to see or hear.
@Budgie Nice fucking pick dude! I didn't hear the lesser-known Thrash Bands until a little after the fact, they weren't very popular at all. You really had to dig for these bands, or be local, or be tipped off by fans of the genre. It was a lot harder back then to hear some of the really cool stuff. I heard about Dark Angel I wanna say in the early 90's. Unfortunately, I didn't get to hear it when it came out.
