That illumination lorax movie lost a ton of metal head cred when it didn't license out this album for music.

found it, jamming rn
it's so obvious to me that this aint my style of music at all but the vox are fun and unusual and the accompaniment is inventive and the songs go places and they keep it so gimmicky that I still think it's amazing

The duelling vocals were always cool but when I look back it’s fucking insane how well done they are.

This was little 14 year old me's introduction to extreme music, stole the CD off my step brother to rip onto my ipod nano. Those were the days.
The peep show video also still haunts my dreams

The vocals still go hard. Definitely the most memorable quality of the band

I'm not sure I like the core-y scram vocals tbh but the more scatty vocalist (Mikee I think?) is really interesting. Sometimes his vocal weirdness works really well like on the Tupelo cover but I'm not sure how I feel about parts of How May I Help You

I think the cleans juxtapose well with the crazy dude - despite edging on cheesiness occasionally - but his core shout /scream feels extra generic next to them. The cleans are distinctive at least
