Yep, Utopia is better than this, but this still rules

Utopia is more like black metal. In a flesh aquarium is more....different. They're basically different genres.

Nah dude, all that happened here is that the band got heaps more comfortable with their sound and they lost that edge of exploring their sound that Utopia had. You can hear the way they're putting out feelers on Utopia, which makes it more varied, whereas here they're more sure of themselves but less willing to go beyond what they're comfortable with. Lost a bit of edge with me.

Saw these guys live supporting Opeth and Dream Theater last night; wasnae that impressed, just a bundle of good ideas stuck together to make something less than the sum of its parts

Listened to this randomly today, actually quite good. I can feel a bit of Mr.Bungle, but not in an
offensive rip off way at all, but only a bit. Very theatrical sounding music. Def blew me away,
unexpect is a good name.

Unexpect is the soundtrack to a very, very itchy asshole.

Not saying you're wrong or anything, but this album doesn't come across as (too) comfortable at all.
