it does some solid nudges, yeah. Think I agree.
Contemplating many things and I see a world where this sticks around long enough to become reaaaaaaaaly important… however, I’ve been wrong before
Next on this one’s usurp radar that’s in a vaguely similar guise is Scarcity’s gem from last year. They’re different enough to coexist btw, I’m just having a let’s rank / compare everything moment.

both fantastic albums of course, but i still prefer AEVILUT (or whatever) by a respectable margin. this is like solidly a 4, that one is on the fringe of 4.5, probably one of my favorite metal releases of the last decade quite honestly.

Respectable take. I definitely have it ahead for now (and am considering bumping also).

yeah, doom tag should go… wat? In the absence of a Turkish folk or ‘avant-garde’ tag I propose to actually add experimental (damn, that’s a rare occurrence!)

LOL. This sounds terrible... like a cross between the two shittiest black metal bands: Burzum and Darkthrone.
What kind of crack do y'all smoke?

^ Kostnateni wants to express you his sincere apologies that he doesn't play death metal and is sadly unable to satisfy your overwhelmingly versatile taste in music

"LOL. This sounds terrible... like a cross between the two shittiest black metal bands: Burzum and Darkthrone."
Curious as to where the Burzum influence is, because I definitely can't hear it. If anything, this is more along the lines of Deathspell Omega or Odz Manouk

Dont even bother with this one user, he is the one smoking crack. Indeed, it is probably closer to DSO, but at the same time, I think the sound here is pretty unique

yeah, I don't even dig Burzum or the (little) Darkthrone I've heard tbh (only relevant because I love this)
This is quite different and definitely has a unique flava despite leaning more towards the disso-type stuff. Weird ass take.

Weird take and rating for sure, but I assume he/she speaks about the production /sound and not about the music itself. Still, not quite accurate...
At least I hope that's what he/she wants to say, for the sake of his/her sanity.

Burzum? Lolwut? Even Darkthrone is a stretch, tho I suppose you could hurl them in just about any black metal-adjunct release after 1992 and call them an "influence".
If anything, I agree with Koris that I hear some DsO here, maybe a little Pyrrhon, too. But it's exceedingly unique as well.
