Havn't listened to this ep since it dropped. Honestly, the least excited I have been for a MO release since Cope. It just feels like b-sides from this.

Smae. And there’s nothing, to me, that feels particularly affecting. It’s just MO going through the hoops to me , nothing particularly it

Unfortunately this did very little for me over time. I have almost never revisited.

Great review!
I have to get used to the overall softer sound but there are some great tunes for sure. I see them returning to the sound of their last two albums.
The release comes across a bit less significant compared to their previous albums. The EP format is also an indication of that maybe? I would be curious what the band itself thinks of the album...

Rear View is incredible, definitely among their best songs. Quietly was also gorgeous and stood out to me after one pass. Gonna play a couple more times before rating but this is a excellent little EP

Yeah Quietly is in my head all the time I adore it. This album was a big grower for me, had to bump to a 4.
