then why, without fail, do the people who 2.5d it have without fail better taste than anyone who gave it above a 3

and shouldn't you be out directing an off-peak commercial for anxiety-reducing rollerblades or some shit so that one of these songs can have at least one limp springboard out of the world of overbaked indiepolish cliches?

sorry cormano, you were caught in the crossfire and deserve better but my point stands :[[[

Love this review, loving this album on first listens. Darkness Fades and Headspace are early standouts.

The last album had a track I really liked, the single, can't remember the title, but I haven't enjoyed a full of album of hers for quite some time. Skimmed this one the other day and meh'd out of it.

'you lived in leeds once, surely that suffices'

damn it Phero, the truth hurts

I'll have you know that if one was to live a sufficient distance from the centre so that you're technically in a self contained suburb and thus only have to commute / visit, it's actually alight

oh wait...

A mostly fine album that's elevated to "good" status on the strength of four tracks: 'Darkness Fades', 'Anything', 'Headspace', and 'Come Back'. Those are marvelous standouts. Everything else is palatable, if somewhat unremarkable.

Headspace is a one-song snapshot of everything not good about this, but otherwise alright probably

I really do want to like this but after 4 listens I’m still finding it very in one ear out the other, honestly only the opener has really stuck with me. I always find myself losing focus somewhere around track 5/6.

I think the opener and closer are definitely the best and really elevate this, I do enjoy all the songs but most of them don't stand out too much.
