i don’t really hear this tbh. of course if you’re listening on spotify it’s gonna sound compressed and shitty because everything on streaming services is run through a compression codec and sounds squished.
I think the production is pretty standard and decently organic for a record like this, especially the drums. maybe download the files or get a physical copy and give it another spin?

I'm prob the last one on this site to say anything about production ever. It never really bothers me unless it's something that ruins the music. But yeah it is a bit compressed. Loudness wars maybe ? I dont know if that's the term I'm looking for but yeah its compressed forsure. Not a huge deal.

I listened to the flac version to be sure, still squished. It's far from ruining the album, would just be a tad better with some more DR.
