That weird remark about the lyrics and the singers age ranks among the worst of it. Yes, congratulations, lyrics in text without their delivery and accompanying music can look easy to make fun of, good work.

that's fair enough genius(/universe), thx for the pointers! i like bringing up age as a way to make sense out of bad stuff (bc i certainly enjoyed a lot of shitty music when i was younger), but there are def more creative ways to convey that i'll try my hand at next time. the lyrics do be awful with or without context though lol

It’s different than anything they’ve done before, for Papa Roach standards they reach a lil bit more than they can grab, but it also seems like they had genuine fun making this and it shows on the audio. This is kind of like a test run for a new direction. Hits and misses.

LHT is their third album. General consensus is that their Paramour Sessions album is pretty great and I support that as well. In fact it is tied for highest average on sputnik as well.

There’s nothing ‘ageist’ about contrasting someone’s age with how incredibly juvenile the lyrics are.
