yeah i get what you mean, this does feel like a "best of" compilation of all the less challenging parts in his oeuvre.
but that's exactly what i like about it. i dont really need challenging music right now. existing in this current hellscape is challenge enough lol. just give me some good tunes and im happy.

This is actually pretty good. I've had a bad taste in my mouth over Oneohtrix since Garden of Delete. After that and Age Of being just okay / forgettable I was kind of expecting not to get much out of this either but it's cool.

i fail to see how this is better than age of in any way. More over the place, less memorable moments, no structure most of the time. Some loose good moments between a frankly boring and uninteresting album, imo.

Enjoyable, but after a couple listens doesn't grab me quite like the last few releases did. Age of is slightly stronger, but I like that this is a little more abstract and detailed.

babylon is pretty bad, yea, but the alex G version makes up for most of the awfulness in that one, tho.
black snow is nice, i don't think it's his best or anything, but definitely not a bad song.
