There is also a lot of truth in this statement.

The 90s was amazing. The only thing I can think of that was a bit shit were the IRA bombings.
Music
Films
Footy
Clothes
Cars
Tele
Pubs
People
It was better.

“listening to this made me go back and listen to the music i made in 2016 and 2017 and reminds me a lot of a handful of those songs.”

Music - easy yes
Films - probably an even easier yes, at least in the mainstream
Footy - I got into football in the mid 90s as a kid, so absolutely yes
Clothes - gonna have to say nay on this one, always thought it was one of the worst eras
Cars - can't honestly answer this one
Tele - easy yes
Pubs - too young to have actually experienced drinking in one (think it was actually 2000 when I 'started' (at 13), but I like proper looking 'traditional' pubs, but modern beer. Draw
People - I'm not getting into this, yes and no, but again I was too young for a proper perspective

It wasn’t as easily accessible or readily available but it was all the more special for it.
Underworld were introduced to me having watched a little report on them on MTV.
MTV back in the day was fucking amazing

HI so this review is extremely awesome and one of the hardest pos's I've given recently and the only reason this comment doesn't stop there is that park asked me for a special favour in the gents' toilet cubicle and I can't turn that kinda request down, so
ig the most helpful place to start is that (imo) there should always be a Definite Reason for a review to exist - like, not just "does it make a point", but who are you trying to make that point to, and why did you want to make it in the first place. the 'point' here, as i see it is is to offer a well sourced and interesting further insight into this album's background to an audience likely already familiar with it.
where you can 'improve', i think, would be less in your style/prose/whatever, and more in how you can broaden the scope of that point in a way that makes it interesting to more people without losing the depth and specificity you get here - the follow-up takeaway ideaquestion after 'what is the reason for its existence' should be 'how do i make this more interesting for more people.' in this case, i think restructuring somewhat to open with a punchy summary of any combo of a) Underworld's sound b) their significance c) their appeal rather than starting at the top and only getting to this release towards the end. i think the impression at the moment potentially veers towards the "here's a really great description of a group i have no investment in" end, but you could draw it back into "woah, so i should already be listening to this group!? woaaah, there's a lot of cool info about them, leading up to this release which - since it was the start and end focus to this review all along - i now want to jam" territory p easily!! really good shit tho
sorry for the tl;dr everyone else, plz ignore and/or contest anything you disagree with or whatever :]:]
