Xibalba are the quintessential 3.5band [2]
Yeah pretty much. On the other hand they always deliver.

Yeah, the opener and Santa Muerte are my two favorites.

I'm all about the closing El Abismo tracks. This wasnt terribly exciting otherwise.

Yeah I was like “man it’d be so cool if they did some cleans but they never will” and as soon as that thought entered my head the cleans came in and I was like YOOOOOOOO

The album is actually quite solid, I love the band's Bolt Thrower-esque vibe.
Nice review, btw, I hope you'll do more metal reviews in the future.

will check this...for the looks it seems quite in the vein of Temple of Void, a band very few ppl is giving a shit here...and they do cool cleans too.

This is really hitting for me. It's like bolt thrower and sepultura mixed with some hardcore beats and a lot more emphasize on atmospheric passages that really work in context of the album.

I love that Sowing did indeed wind up writing this.

"But maybe it's me and I'm just about done with the internet and I should just log off."
You can do that?

Check out that cliff of fours on the rating chart. Gonna give this a spin, hoping to jump off that cliff if it sounds like how everyone is describing it.

Eh. It was good at least.

Love the sound and the vibe, but the riffs are just not distinct enough and barely any songs stand out in that regard. Heavy and uninspired. Liked Tierra Y Libertad more.
